Twenty Game Winner at Twenty Years Old

On August 25th, 1985 Doc Gooden & the New York Mets earned a 9-3 victory over the San Diego Padres at Shea Stadium. With the victory, Gooden improved his record to 20-3, and in doing so became the youngest pitcher to ever win 20 games. He was just 20 years, 9 months, & 9 days old. Nearly a month younger than the previous record holder. Can anybody name that previous record holder?
